Not everyone likes using mouse and keyboard. TLDR: Turn off Steam controller configuration and rely only Ubisoft's controller detection. If you deactivate Steam's controller configuration (Shift-Tab in game --> Controller Configuration) and then restart the game, the issue goes away. Seems Ubisoft didn't test if Steam would interfere with the Apparently rocket league does not support PS5 controller for the moment. That was my assumptiom. In steam big picture you can configure the bindings and tell steam it's a Dualshock 4 controller. When doing the bindings R2 wasn't working, but I exited and went back to bind it again and it works. thats an issue with your system .. KB a+ mouse works fine here do you have any other controllers plugged in .. if so disconnect them
The instructions on this link worked to fix the issue with the D-Pad and the braking/reverse for me. First verified game cache>. Connect you controller>. Then open big picture>. Click far cry 5>. Manage game>. Controller options>. Use steam configuration for non-steam Controllers>. Select (forced off) click ok>.

Far Cry 4 purchased through Steam, but Uplay have to run too i have to hook UPlay into steam as a non steam game, and run it, but nothing solved that problem. it is always the desktop config run. In other games the controller works You can't have the Uplay overlay at the same time as the Steam overlay. Disable the Uplay overlay and try again.

Oh no it’s completely fine lol, the steam deck is like a Nintendo switch but for PC gaming, the controllers are part of the console and not Bluetooth so it’s more of a game compatibility issue then a hardware issue, my guess is that it keeps “thinking” it’s using keyboard instead of controller and it keeps switching between prompts etc, I’ve had similar happen with other games on

So my xbox 360 controller is not working properly in farcry 4 and some games i don’t know why it works properly by it self in in cod but the bottom left won’t work help please. Playing Farcry 6 on PC with a PS5 controller uses the adaptive triggers.
