The metres go up and down like mad and engine malfunction limited speed mode displays as well, but the car runs as normal. A couple of weeks ago I filled up my windscreen wiper fluid on my 2019 Focus with pre-mixed Halfords stuff as it was getting low and it blocked the filter! Took it to my local Ford garage who told me that wiper fluid will always block the filter and to only use water to fill the reservoir.
6 posts · Joined 2016. #1 · Jun 8, 2017. My old power steering pump was broke on my 2009 Focus SE, replaced it myself after flushing out the PS fluid, now there's a new problem. I bled the system while the engine was OFF while the front end is jacked and got most air out, turned the engine on and the pump is silent and everything sounds fine.

could be the common problem with the solder on the 32 pin connector on the back of the instrument console. there are youtube videos about how to dismantle it and resolder. or companies you can send the instrument cluster to for resoldering.
